Travel Vaccinations

departure_boardIf you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  Please complete the travel questionnaire at the bottom of this page at least 2 working days prior to your appointment.

Information about countries and vaccinations required can be found on the links below:

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America india South America
egypt Carribean lithuania Africa
bulgaria Middle East poland Central Asia
china East Asia china Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment may be required with the practice nurse to receive all the vaccinations.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Although travel vaccinations are not an NHS service, some of the vaccinations are provided free of charge. Courtside Surgery is a Yellow Fever Centre. The charge for a Yellow Fever vaccination is currently £49. There is also a charge for some other vaccinations and maleria prevention tablets. The nurse will discuss your options at your initial appointment. You will know what charges apply before any vaccinations are given.
