Summer is Finally Here!

We all know that we need the sun for healthy bones making vitamin D and just by making us feel happier! However, too much sun can damage the skin causing it to age as well as giving rise to skin cancers.

Some tips for enjoying the sun safely this summer:

  1. Always wear SPF 15 or above.
  2. Re-apply SPF every 2 hours, more if you are swimming
  3. Avoid being in direct sunlight during the hottest time of the day 11am to 3pm
  4. Drink plenty of water
  5. Enjoy whilst you can!

Managing your Hay Fever

  • Avoid triggers, such as grassy areas and car fumes.
  • Wear sunglasses.
  • Apply vaseline inside nostrils to block pollen.

If you are struggling with Hey Fever please speak to the pharmacist, however, if it making you breathless or wheezy please speak to reception.
